Welcome to Carthage United Methodist Church! We’re so glad you’re joining us and we invite you to Discover God on Sunday Morning!

What To Expect

First of all, we’re so excited that you’re joining us! You can expect a friendly atmosphere, a mix of classic and contemporary music, and preaching of the Word. Our services last approximately 60 minutes and once the service is finished, you’re encouraged to meet us for a cup of coffee and conversation so we can get to know each other.

Is there Sunday School?

After the service from 10:30-11:15am, we do offer further Bible study for anyone who wants to attend. This is a time to dig deeper in the Word with a smaller group of people.

What Should I Wear?

We have a mixture of casual styles and Sunday bests so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

What is the music like?

We have a mixture of classic Christian music and your favorite hymns. We are currently in the process of growing our music ministry, so if you play an instrument, let us know! You can contact, Rebekah Ritter.

Is There Children’s Ministry?

We are currently in the process of growing our Children’s Ministry so if you are excited about discipling and watching young ones grow in Christ, come and see how we’re making room preparing for you and all children, youth and families. Contact Melissa Swofford to get started.
