Discover God as we follow Jesus out and about in Carthage, NC

County Seat Crier

The County Seat Crier is a Carthage-focused newspaper highlights and communicates the community resources that Carthage provides. We seek to bring together the talented and skilled people of Carthage to build and uplift the best things our community has to offer.

Carthage Food Pantry

1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. 8:00am-9:30am.
The Carthage Food Pantry began over two decades ago with a handful of CUMC members and has grown over the decades to include over two dozen volunteers from various denominations as well as those seeking God or a church. The Food Pantry provides 100-200 (depending on the season) boxes of fresh produce, meat and canned goods for those who struggle to buy food.

Giving Tree

We come alongside Moore County Schools, Life Care Pregnancy Center and other non-profits and provide for seasonal needs such as school supplies, clothing, growing family items.

Alcoholics Anonymous/Common Cause Group

Meets in our church every Wednesday and Sunday at 7PM. Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.

Casserole Care Ministry

We prepare hearty casseroles and desserts that are ready to give to those in need of a hot meal.

Holyween

“Holyween” is our way of giving back during Halloween. We invite local children to come join the festivities at church that include candy, costumes and “clowning around.”
